Jeanetta H May

Jeanetta H. May, 95, of Little Rock, surrounded by her family, went to her heavenly home June 30, 2022. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and a great friend.

Jeanetta was a social butterfly. She loved gathering at social events with the Iris Society. She was a very active member of the First Christian Church where she loved to help out in the Sunday School. She was also a member of the “Lunch Bunch'', Christian Women's Fellowship, the Art Club where she loved to quilt and the Little Rock Women's City Club. She worked her entire life as a secretary for the Government and insurance companies. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack May; son, Gary M. May; granddaughter, Elizabeth S. May and her parents, James and May Hooker.

She is survived by her children, Alan May (Ann), Janet Wilkerson (Donald) and Cindy May; sister Dorothy Hough; brother Robert Hooker; Seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; many loved nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 6,2022,  from 10:00-11:00 am, Funeral Services will be from 11:00-12:00 pm at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), (501)224-2200, followed by interment at Rest Hills Cemetery, 7724 Landers Rd, North Little Rock.
