Jeana Francis

Jeana Francis, age 48, of Amity, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2017. She was born on December 20, 1968 in Murfreesboro, the daughter of Cecil Curtis Johnson and Billie Jean Johnson. On July 27, 2007, she was married to Dewain Francis. She was preceded in death by her father. She attended Culvert Springs Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed singing, playing the piano and writing poetry. She is survived by her husband, Dewain Francis of Amity; her mother, Billie Jean Johnson of Stuttgart; her brother, Clint Johnson of Delight; her sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Wallace Simmons of Stuttgart; a very close cousin, Jerry Parks of Texarkana, Arkansas; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 23, 2017, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, with Bro. Jerry Fagan and Bro. Wallace Simmons officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mount Tabor Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Clint Johnson, Jerry Parks, Bruce Francis, Gary Francis, Josh Francis and Jerry Francis. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
