Jean Taylor Jenkins age 81 of Arkadelphia, died Monday, January 2, 2012 in Little Rock. She was born September 11, 1930 the daughter of the late Elbert and Lecie Cook Taylor. She spent her childhood in Arkadelphia and graduated from Arkadelphia High School and Little Rock Business College. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Jean loved her friends and family and always enjoyed traveling, a sunny day on the golf course, and a good hand of bridge.

She was a loving wife to Donald Jenkins, mother of three children, Marion Tucker, Renee Brown and Taylor Brown; step-mother of three children, Steve Jenkins, Pamela Feinberg and Cynthia Kapila; devoted sister of Agnes Cox, Marzell Taylor and Violet Golden; and grandmother of twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, January 6th at First Presbyterian Church with Pastor Kendal Land officiating. A private burial will be in Carter Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Thursday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 1220 Pine St. Arkadelphia, AR. 71923, Carter Cemetery, % Stephanie Banks, 5796 Hwy. 51 S., Arkadelphia, AR. 71923 or to Scleroderma Foundation, Texas Blue Bonnet Chapter, Box 1836, Allen, TX. 75013.
