JC “Travis” Markham, age 81, of Glenwood, was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 21, 2023.

Markham; his sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Harral Ashley; and half-brother and sister, Seldon and Estalee.

Travis loved sports and was an avid Razorback fan and on Saturdays you could find him watching a ballgame and calling the hogs. He was a member of the Glenwood Freewill Baptist Church for over 55 years and had a great belief and faith, always praising the Lord thru the good and bad times.
Travis’ whole life revolved around logging. He and his two sons owned and operated Markham and Sons Logging for over 50 years and he always enjoyed talking about the log woods. Travis was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who above all, adored his wife, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, who could talk their grandpa into anything, and definitely could talk their way out of anything.
