J.B. Edwards

J.B. Henry Edwards, Sr., 85, of Heber Springs went to be with the Lord August 7, 2020. He was born August 19, 1934 to Jim and Flora Lea (Wiggs) Edwards.

J.B. served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict.He retired from Nellis Air Force Base, as a Civil Engineer in 1989.J.B. was united in marriage to Joanna on September 21, 1962 in Las Vegas, NV.To this union one son was born, J.B. Edwards, Jr.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Joanna; two sons J.B. Jr. and Joel, and all his brothers and sisters.

J.B. is survived by two children, James and Maurine Edwards, both of CA; as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday August 10, 2020, at Smith – Westbrook Chapel.Visitation will start at 10:00 a.m. before the service.Interment will be at Pleasant Grove in Floyd. Facemasks and social distancing are required.
