Jayne Carole Evans, born on February 28, 1961, in Columbus, Ohio, passed away on February 3, 2025, at Saline Memorial Hospital. She leaves behind a legacy as a cherished mother, sister, and friend who touched the lives of many with her vibrant spirit and warm heart.
Jayne dedicated many years to her career in business administration, during which she exemplified professionalism and commitment. However, it was her personality that truly defined her. A free spirit at heart, Jayne loved to listen to music and dance, and she was rarely seen without a beautiful smile illuminating her face, even during life's most challenging trials. Known for her good-natured disposition, Jayne never spoke ill of anyone, choosing instead to find joy and humor in every situation. She had a remarkable talent for making fun out of everything, which brought pleasure to those around her.
An avid bowler, Jayne achieved the remarkable feat of bowling a perfect game with a score of 300, showcasing her competitive spirit and skill. She also enjoyed the thrill of taking risks at casinos, hoping for that elusive jackpot on the slot machines. Moreover, Jayne had an extraordinary affinity for animals, earning her the affectionate title of "critter lover" among her friends and family, as many claimed she possessed an uncanny ability to understand and connect with them as an "animal whisperer."
Jayne is survived by her daughter, Christina Livingston of Nashville, Tennessee, and her loving siblings: Janet Leigh Cooley of Bishop, California; Joseph Earl Cisco and wife Shirley of Benton, Arkansas; Jean Medlin of Chino Hills, California; Julie Ann Tyler and husband Steve of Benton, Arkansas; James Robert Cisco and wife Martha of Scott, Arkansas; and Jason Harry Cisco and wife Claire of Pasadena, California. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family and friends who will forever treasure her memory and miss her dearly.
Jayne was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Gary Evans; her parents, Robert M. and Rebecca Ann (Kinney) Cisco; and her brother, John Wesley Cisco.
As we remember Jayne Carole Evans, we celebrate a life marked by love, laughter, and an unyielding spirit that inspired all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will always hold a special place in the hearts of those she loved and who loved her in return.
