Jay Allen "Jackie" Anderson

June 5, 1945 — February 26, 2024

Benton

Jay Allen Anderson, also known as "Jackie", was born in Benton, Arkansas, on June 5, 1945. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jackie on February 26, 2024.

Jackie displayed his strong work ethic and commitment to provide for his family after working for Alcoa for 27 years.

Jackie found joy in simple pleasures, particularly hunting and fishing. These hobbies allowed him to connect with nature and find peace in the great outdoors.

Jackie was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 53 years, Frankie Anderson, his parents Olen"Red"Anderson and Margaret (Haley) Anderson and brothers Ronnie, Donald and James Anderson.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Kelly Faulkenberry, and son, Rick Curtis, both of Benton, Arkansas. Additionally, he is survived by his 2 grandchildren: Emily Pugh of Howe, Oklahoma and Jennifer (Rick) Wallace of Ward, Arkansas; his 4 great-grandchildren: Ellie Mae, Pake, River, and Ashley; and 1 great-great-grandchild Cam.  Jackie is also survived by 2 sisters Laverne Hughes of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Julia Montague of Benton, Arkansas; and by numerous other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
