Jason, Christopher Branstner, 51, of Conway passed away on August 28, 2022.
Jason was born in Wadena, Minnesota on June 26, 1971; the son of William and Glenda (Curry) Branstner. Jason moved to Conway in 1998 to work for Union Pacific Railroad, for 25 years. He is a member of the Brotherhood Of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen, division 278. Jason married his wife Jennifer Worthen on May 2, 2008. Jason enjoyed reading, writing, and thinking. In his younger years he loved to fish.
Jason was preceded in death by his father William August Branstner; and his niece Megan Morgan.
Jason is survived by his wife Jennifer Worthen of Conway, his mother Glenda, his daughter Chrissy Glenn of Fort Smith, his sons William Branstner of Conway and Sean Branstner (Haley Cowett) of Muldrow, Oklahoma, grandson Liam Branstner, and a granddaughter due in December, Layla Branstner. He also leaves his brother Wade Branstner, His sister Orpha Mitchell, nephew Andy Morgan, grandnephew Asher Morgan, and many friends from the railroad.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has been chosen, and there will be no formal memorial service. His family suggests donations be made to Shrinerâs Childrenâs Hospital in Jasonâs honor.
