Jarrell Bentley Shaw, 82, of Little Rock, passed away June 3, 2018. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a longtime member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he served in many callings, including Bishop. Jarrell always started his day with biscuits and gravy. He loved automobiles and auctions and was an avid Razorback fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy Vernon and Blanch Tackett Shaw, his wife of 50 years, Noramae Jackson Shaw, and a son, Alan Shaw. He is survived by his children, Larry Shaw and Terri Bailey (Bud), both of Little Rock, Darren Shaw (Kara) and Randy Shaw (Shelly), both of Benton, Amber Shaw (Adam) of State College, Pennsylvania and Jeffrey Shaw (Lindsey) of Bentonville, Arkansas; brother, Tommy Farrell Shaw; sister, Wanda Fae Fowler; seventeen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 6 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Thursday, June 7 at 11:00 a.m. at the Otter Creek Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 13901 Quail Run Dr., Little Rock, 72210. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
