Jared Clifford Jernigan

Jared Clifford Jernigan, 37, passed away December 21, 2022. Jared was born on May 13, 1985, in West Memphis, Arkansas to Jerry and Judy Lynn Williams Jernigan.

Jared met his wife, Kristy, in Jonesboro,  Arkansas in 2005. They wed in 2008 and began their life journey in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Jared's main job was a stay at home dad to his 3 year old son, his pride and joy, Jackson Jared Jernigan. Prior to Jackson's birth, Jared worked in Retail Management.

He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Kristy Ann Cossey Jernigan; son, Jackson Jared Jernigan; sister, Jalyn Eleaseabeth Victory Jernigan of Osceola, AR; two brothers, Jordon Williams Jernigan of Bay, AR and Jerry Eldon Jernigan Jr. of Osceola, AR; mother, Judy Lynn Williams Jernigan of Osceola, AR; father, Jerry Eldon Jernigan of Osceola, AR; 3 nieces; 4 nephews; and a host of extended family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

A visitation will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday January 3, 2023 at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct., followed by a memorial service at 2:00pm.

Jared was a supporter and huge advocate for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in lieu of flowers.
