Janie Jackson

Janie Belle Jackson, 75, of Benton, Arkansas passed away December 27, 2021.  She was born December 12, 1946 in Bauxite, Arkansas to Amity Eugene and Lois Mae (Cash) Crowson.

Janie was the best wife, mom, and Maw-Maw.  She would give her shirt off her back if anyone needed it.  Janie was the definition of selfless.   She was extremely defensive of her family and protected them fiercely.  Janie was a hard worker and taught her children to always be honest and loving.  She loved spending time with and taking care of her grandchildren.

Preceding Janie in death are her parents; her little brother, Andy Crowson; baby brother, Larry Cash Crowson; and sister, Bobbie Wilson.

Janie leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of thirty-three years, Robert Jackson; two daughters:  Carla Landon (Chris), Jamie Krticka (Rick); son, Steve Sheridan (Vickey); grandchildren:  Christopher, Rachael, Kellie (Taylor), Shae, Zack (Tara), Jessi Belle, Tyler, Ceciley (Zach); Little Andi, and Tate; great-grandchildren:  Emery and Ariyah; brother, Jewell Crowson (Glenda);  sister-in-law, Susan Crowson; and many family members and friends who love Janie and will miss her always.

Special thanks to all the caregivers at Pleasant Hill Care Home for the wonderful care they provided to Janie.

Celebration of Life visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00, Thursday, December 30, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas.
