Janice Heerboth

Janice Lorraine (Shelton) Heerboth, 78, went to be with the Lord on December 24, 2021.  She was born March 4, 1943, in Little Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of Otis and Mary Ellen (Garrett) Shelton.

Janice retired from the State of Arkansas Department of Finance and was a very active member of Brady Homemaker’s Club and loved volunteering at Faith United Methodist Church, where she was a lifelong member. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and going to Lake Hamilton with her family during the summers.

Janice is preceded in death by her parents and stepson Chris Heerboth. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Everett Heerboth of Bryant, her daughter Vicki (James) Short of Bryant, and stepson Stephen (April) Heerboth of Maine; grandchildren Alex, Abby, and Matthew Short, Shelby and Ethan Heerboth; siblings Ellen McCloskey, Edman (Judy) Shelton, Warren (Joan) Shelton, Emma Lou (Duwane) Bentley; many nieces and nephews.

A service of remembrance will be 11:00am, Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Faith United Methodist Church. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the funeral home.
