Janice Alexander

Janice Faye James Alexander 64, Curtis, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on November 21st, 2014. She was born November 19th, 1950 in Dumas, Arkansas to the late Willie and Melba James. On May 3rd, 1987, she married Jakie Alexander in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Janice was a Advance Practice Nurse and Homemaker; she was a member of the Pine Bluff First Assembly of God. She was happiest when she was giving care to her patients as a Advance Practice Nurse. She enjoyed watching Nascar, supporting and giving to her family.

Janice is survived by her husband of 27 years, Jakie Alexander, three sons and two daughters, Stacey Cruz of Bentonville, Arkansas, Jeff Mashburn and his wife Jennifer of Benton, Arkansas, Glenda Dean and her husband Bill of White Hall, Arkansas , Gary Alexander of Curtis, Arkansas, and Guy Alexander and his wife Kim of McDonough, Georgia, Two brothers, Bryan James of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Michael James and his wife Debra of Monticello, Arkansas, eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mom Melba James and her dad Willie Fay James, two brothers Terry James and Gerald James.

Visitation will be Monday, November 24th, 2014 1-2:00 pm, Services immediately following visitation at Ruggles Wilcox funeral home in Arkadelphia with Brother Charlie Williams officiating the ceremony. Family request no flowers. Donations can be made to the Arkansas Alzheimer's Association.
