Janette Sims

Janette McDonald Sims, 77, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2014. She was a lifelong member of Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church. Janette was retired from Jolly Family Dentistry and was a volunteer at Baptist Health North.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Roy Sims, of North Little Rock; children, Barry Sims (Suzanne) of North Little Rock; Susan Springer (Scott) of North Little Rock; and Sharon Alexander (Eric) of Huntsville, Alabama; seven grandchildren, Clark Sims (Kimmie), Spencer Sims, Olivia Sims, Sunny Gentry (Michael), Sara Springer, William Alexander and Grace Alexander. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Edwin and Louise Clark McDonald.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church Food Pantry, 1723 Schaer Street, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72114.
Memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday at Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church Sanctuary. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday in the Fellowship Hall at the church. Arrangements by Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home.
