Janet Tilley
Janet Pearl Tilley, 63, of Perry, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2011. She was born January 12, 1948 in Ola, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Clifton Yates and Audrey Tucker Yates.
Janet had a "green thumb." She loved to garden her flowers and plants. She was talented in art, loving to draw as a child and oil paint as an adult. She truly enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting and camping with her family. She found a lot of pleasure in music and dance. Most importantly, Janet was very active in her life as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, which brought the most joy to herself and to her family.
Preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Corine Hadidon and Paulette Jones, she is survived by her husband of 50 years, Clyde "Buddy" Tilley; son, Danny Tilley and his wife, Lisa of Bigelow; daughters, Patricia Davidson and her husband, Wayne, Keri Tilley, and Amanda Tilley-Tabone and her husband, Tony Tabone, all of Perry; six grandchildren, Sierra, Colter, Sage and Sheridan Tilley of Bigelow, Dawson and Garett Tabone of Perry; step-granddaughter, Tabetha Thompson of Star City; two step-great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, November 13 at 3:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Perryville, officiated by Bro. John Shaffer.
