Janet M. Shrader-Perrigan of Sherwood, Arkansas went to be with the Lord September 26, 2012. She was born June 15, 1951, the daughter of the late L.J. (Bud) Shrader and Helen M. Shrader. She was a 1969 graduate of Jacksonville High School, attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and was retired from the residential construction business.
Often referred to by those who loved her most as the "Queen of Everything," Janet was the family matriarch, devoting her life completely to caring for her family and friends with a deep dedication to serving others. She never met a stranger, as she shared her kindness and vibrant spirit with her family, community and church. She was actively involved in Common Ground Ministry in Jacksonville, Arkansas and was deeply devoted to serving her Lord. Always there with a kind word, an unforgettable laugh, and a big heart, Janet was the life of the party. She will be deeply missed by her many friends and devoted family.
She is survived by her husband, Felix Perrigan; stepsons Bobby Perrigan and Scott Perrigan; brother and sister-in-law Ronnie and Ginny Shrader; granddaughter Haley Perrigan; grandson Scott Perrigan; nieces Heather Phillips, Shay Fisher-Flowers, and Priscilla Peters; nephew Doug Shrader; great nieces Myriah Dozier, Abbie Peters, Taylor Flowers and Stella Peters; great nephews Coby Peters, Blake Peters, Tanner Flowers, Isaiah Phillips, Garrett Peters and Noah Peters; beloved pet Kennedy Anne Shrader; and dozens of friends and family.
A service honoring Janet will be held Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Friends and family are invited to visitation Friday, September 28, 2012 at North Little Rock Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Common Ground Ministry, 1920 W. Main Street, Suite 1, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076.
