Janet Reddin passed from this life at the age of 80 on October 18, 2022 in Little Rock. She was born on February 10, 1942 in the historical town of Natchitoches, Louisiana. She grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana, but lived most of her life in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Janet retired after enjoying 20 years working as the office manager for the Arkansas Health Care Association in Little Rock, and previously was employed by the State of Arkansas for 18 years. Janet enjoyed spending her retirement years with her family and friends and taking lots of fun trips with friends to Oaklawn Park in Hot Springs and to various casinos in Tunica, Mississippi and Shreveport, Louisiana.
Janet Sibley Fletcher Reddin was predeceased in 2014 by her husband, Jim Reddin, after 39 years of marriage; by her parents, Woodrow and Willie Lee Sibley; and one brother, Woodrow “Butch” Sibley of Shreveport, Louisiana.
Janet is survived by one sister, Linda Prado and her husband, John, of Vacaville, California. She is also survived by her children, son, Jimmy Fletcher (Sherri) of Ozark and daughter, Wendy Fletcher Davis of Little Rock; two step-daughters, Kim Reddin Peters of Fayetteville and Keena Reddin Kennedy (Tom) of Jonesboro; and grandchildren, Zack Fletcher and Jesse Fletcher, Benjamin Davis and Brianna Davis, Cooper Peters, Grant, Grayson and Jack Ross Waleszonia.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 26 at 10:00 a.m. at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct., Little Rock, AR 72205 A private burial service will take place at the Campground Cemetery in Hampton by family. She will be buried there next to her husband, Jim Reddin.
