Jane Thomason

Jane Palmer Thomason, 84 of Arkadelphia, formerly of Alpine, died Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at St. Joseph's Mercy Health Center in Hot Springs. She was born December 21, 1924 in Amity, the daughter of Pat and Helen Gertrude Wright Palmer . She was a member of the Alpine Missionary Baptist Church. She and her husband attended the First Assembly of God Church when they moved to Arkadelphia. She was preceeded in death by her parents, four brothers, and one sister.

She is survived by her very devoted and loving husband of 65 years, Estus R. Thomason; one son, Nicky Thomason and wife Kathy of Arkadelphia; two daughters, Janette Gray and husband Dale of Malvern, and Dana Holder of Arkadelphia; 7 grandchildren, Dusty and Keli Thomason, Phil McDaniel, Holly Graham, Aaron Gray, and Matt and Rebecca Holder, 5 great-grandchildren, Terra Graham, Brittney, Mason, and Phillip McDaniel, and D. J. Goins, 3 great great grandchildren, Kaden, Kambree, and Taige Prather.

Funeral services will be 2 P. M. Friday, March 27, 2009 in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel with Brother Nathan Rogers and Brother Marvin Pate officiating. Burial will be in the Jones Cemetery in Amity. Visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
