Jane Stokley, age 76, of Sims, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018. She was born on May 7, 1941 in Monticello, the daughter of Marvin Dye and Christine Griffin Lewis. On May 14, 1960, she was married to Donald Stokley. A gifted artist, she enjoyed painting and was a member of the Ouachita Artist Guild. She loved being with her family and enjoyed traveling. She was a member of the Bethel Assembly of God Church in Mount Ida. She is survived by her husband, Donald Stokley of Sims; two children and their spouses, Donna and Mike Dobbs of Pencil Bluff and Joel and Alison Stokley of Prattville, Alabama; four grandchildren, Wesley Porter, Bailey Stokley, Braxton Stokley and Sammy Stokley; three brothers, Michael Dye of Niceville, Florida, Phillip Dye of Irving, Texas and Kenneth Lewis of Fort Worth, Texas; three sisters, Colleen Tipton of Hurst, Texas, Joyce See of Jinks, Oklahoma and Caroline Lancaster of Pine Bluff; and several nieces and nephews.
