Jane Homeyer

Jane Osborn Homeyer, 84, of Little Rock, passed away April 1, 2014. She was born in Dulce, New Mexico on June 9, 1929, the daughter of Minott Lowry Osborn and Lelia Davison Osborn. She was raised and lived on several Indian reservations in New Mexico, Arizona and Montana, and attended the University of Montana. Following her father's retirement, she moved to Texas where she met her husband, Curtis. They lived in Texas until moving to Little Rock in 1974.

Preceded in death by her husband, Curtis George Homeyer, she is survived by her sons, James Osborn Homeyer and his wife, Carolyn, Steven Craig Homeyer and his wife, Joanne, and Douglas Allen Homeyer; and three grandchildren, Kristen Homeyer, Miller Homeyer and Alexa Homeyer.

Mrs. Homeyer was active in several organizations, including the Altar Guild at St. Mark's and the A.C.R.C. She served as Past President of CARTI's Festival of Trees and former chairman of Celebrity Trees. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and Pulaski County Republican Women, and active in Eastern Star and Welcome Wagon.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Foxridge-Chenal and Dr. Kimberly Curseen for their loving care and support.

Services will be held on Friday, April 4 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, officiated by Rev. Danny Schieffler, followed by interment at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. Visitation will be Thursday, from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.).

Memorials may be made to St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 1000 N. Mississippi, Little Rock, AR 72207, to CARTI or to a charity of one's choice.
