Jane, known as Nannie to her grandchildren and family was the consummate homemaker. Her home was always neat and organized and there was always something good cooking on the stove. She loved taking care of people and babysitting all the grandchildren as they grew up. Jane enjoyed being outdoors, visiting with her neighbors and taking care of the animals on the farm she and her husband raised prior to his death. She enjoyed her church family at First United Methodist Church at Quitman. Nannie loved to laugh and all her grandchildren will tell you she always met them with open arms, a kiss and a smile. Each one was special to her and she was always there to encourage, listen and love unconditionally. She will be dearly missed by all of us who knew her.
Our family would like to thank Woodland Hills Nursing Home and Arkansas Hospice for their care.
