Jamie R. Miller

Jamie Rogers Miller, 78, of North Little Rock passed away August 8, 2024. She was born on October 8, 1945, in Little Rock to the late Jim and Frances Rogers of Warren, AR. She was a graduate of Warren High School and received a BA Degree from the University of AR Monticello. Jamie was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in North Little Rock, where she was a member of the choir and the Altar Society. She was a former High School teacher in Pine Bluff and worked in the family food service business for 20 plus years.

Jamie spent 49 wonderful years with her soulmate and love of her life, Fred. She loved anything to do with her children and grandchildren and never missed an occasion to celebrate them. Her grandkids always knew that Mawmaw would be at every function to cheer them on and support them. She enjoyed spending time outdoors especially time at War Eagle, Arkansas with her family. She cherished her time singing with the Church choir, hearing her angelic voice always brought joy to our hearts. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her the most and we will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Ed Hibbard; and a granddaughter, Ryleigh Rae Miller. Jamie is survived by her husband, Fred Miller of North Little Rock; daughter, Amanda Miller; son, Bill Miller (Christina); daughter; Mary Hamilton (Nick); sister, Diane Hibbard of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren: Alex Miller, Brynley Miller, Cora Hamilton, Claire Hamilton, and Tanner Hamilton; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
