James Phillip Winholt, 82, of Little Rock, passed away June 10, 2011. He was born in Chicago, Illinois to Ernest F. and Frances Clawes Winholt. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran and retired from American Airlines following 37 years of service. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.
Preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Shirley Gronseth Winholt, he is survived by his son, David Winholt and wife, Jill of Jacksonville; daughter, Pat Myrose and husband, Ford of Little Rock; sister, Karyl Dodd of Gilbert, Arizona; and grandchildren, James Myrose and wife, Michelle of Tucson, Arizona and Krista Sudduth and husband, David of Little Rock.
Services will be held on Wednesday, June 22 at 10:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, officiated by Rev. Carl Hoffman. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Arkansas Foodbank, 4301 W. 65th St., Little Rock, AR 72209 or to Faith Lutheran Church, 7525 W. Markham, Little Rock, AR 72205.
