James Larry Whittiker

James Larry Whittiker, Sr., 73, of Jacksonville passed away November 28, 2022. 

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by the funeral at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at First Pentecostal Church, NLR. Interment will be at 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 1, 2022 at AR State Veterans Cemetery.

Larry was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to “Jim” Whittiker & Marie Aubury. He served in the USAF for 11 years during the Vietnam era. He was a home construction subcontractor and also did remodeling. He loved to garden, care for his poultry, travel through Arkansas, and enjoyed holidays with family. He never met a stranger and loved talking to people. He had a great love for his church, Pastor Nathan Holmes and Bishop Holmes of First Pentecostal Church North Little Rock, AR. His love for God and the things of God were great.

Preceded in death by his father, James Taylor Whittiker. Survivors include wife of the home, Jan Whittiker, son Jeff Whittiker of Ward, Arkansas, son Josh/Denise of Romance, Arkansas, son James/Vickie of Panama City, Florida, 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, mother Marie Whittiker, sister Geneva Beaver, sister Gail Royse, brother Jerry Whittiker, brother Steve Whittiker, and brother Roger Whittiker.
