James Wells
James (Jimmy) Wells age 72 of Gurdon died Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at his home. He was born August 2, 1937 in Gurdon, Arkansas the son of the late Grover and Lillie Patterson Wells. Jimmy was a Baptist and retired from International Paper Company Gurdon Woods Product Plant.
Survivors include his wife of forty-eight years, Wanda Sue Morrison Wells; two sons, Jimmy Lyn Wells and Scotty Ray Wells both of Gurdon, AR; four grandchildren, Kayla Gibson and Eric Lyn Wells both of Gurdon, AR; April Dickerson of Whelen Springs, AR; Steven Ray Wells of Harrison, AR; four great-grandchildren, Elissa, Wesley, Gunner and Gabbey; one brother, Eugene Wells of El Dorado, AR; two sisters, Pauline Powell of Arkadelphia, AR. and Linda DeVault of Gurdon, Arkansas.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, November 19, 2009 at South Fork Cemetery near Gurdon with Rev. Ollie Trout officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Wednesday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
