James Leslie Weakley

James “Jim” Leslie Weakley, born on June 5, 1954, in Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on March 17, 2025.

Jim served in the United States Army and was a proud veteran. After his military service, he spent many years working in marine sales, where he enjoyed being around boats and the water. He had a lifelong love of fishing and spent much of his time near the water.

He is survived by his sons, Robert “Bobby” Weakley (Tamra) and James “Ross” Weakley (Jessica); his grandchildren, Wade, Anna, Alice, and Lucy; his sisters, Jean, Joan, and Julie; and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lois and Robert Weakley, and his sister Jane.

Jim’s Christian faith was important to him, and his memory will live on with those who knew him.
