James Watson Sr
James Daniel Watson Sr. age 82 of Arkadelphia died Friday, October 26, 2012 in Arkadelphia. He was born October 8, 1930 in Mauldin, Arkansas the son of Harvey and Emma Loy Watson. Dan was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church and a veteran of the U. S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Mark Watson, three brothers, Randal, Ralph and Darrel Watson; and one sister, Mary Shuffield.
Survivors are his wife of sixty years, Linda Watson; one son, Danny (Sandra) Watson of Arkadelphia; two daughters, Debbie (Wayne) Page of Arkadelphia, Joyce (Ron) Arnold of Longview, Texas; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one sister, Myrtie Nahas of Hot Springs.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 29th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home with Dr. Lee McGlone officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. Monday until service time at the funeral home.
