James Ward
James A. "Jim" Ward IV, 68, of Little Rock, passed away February 11, 2017. Born in Ft. Smith, Arkansas to James A. Ward III and Mary L. Ward Gans, he was a writer and an avid golfer.
Preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Robart D. Long, he is survived by his daughter, Jessica Lynne Ward and his grandson, Alexander Ward, both of Rockport, Maine; sisters, Elizabeth W. Gillespie of Hickory, North Carolina, Miriam Ward of Hot Springs, Cornelia W. Thode and sister-in-law, Paula H. Long, both of Little Rock; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Arkansas Hospice and a very special thank you to Katrina and Sonya for their care and support.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
