James Viner

James (Jim) Thomas Viner, 77, of Maumelle, went to be with the Lord on May 21st, 2018. Jim died doing what he loved- helping others. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Billye Gaye Viner, and his daughters, Kathy Viner Gullo, Johna Keen, and Julie Viner Murphy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Donal and Cora Lee Hastings Viner, his brother, Dr. Donald Viner, his sisters, Norma Jean Rodgers, Clara Jo Carter, and his sons, Tom Viner and David Viner.

Jim was born in Hardy, Arkansas on May 29, 1940. He spent most of his career working as a manager of transportation for the Little Rock School District. He eventually retired from LRSD to assist his wife in the development of Viner and Viner advertising and later established and operated Viner Locksmith.

Jim was a dedicated member of the Little Rock Bible Church for more than 30 years. He was devoted to the care of his wife as well as anyone in need in his community. His memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the Little Rock Bible Church at 19111 Cantrell Road, Little Rock, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Little Rock Bible Church of Little Rock Benevolence Fund. Jim's online guestbook may be signed at www.littlerockfuneralhome.com.
