James "Todd" Lawrence

James “Todd” Lawrence, age 53, of Hot Springs, passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021.

He was born in Elkhart, Kansas, on April 23,1968, to Kenneth and Sandy Lawrence.

Todd had a passion for life and a presence that was contagious with enthusiasm, you could not help but feel his energy when he entered the room. He was always there to lend a hand and a smile. His greatest joy in life was his daughter Abigail, they loved to play on the lake together and would never pass up a good roller coaster. Todd loved the beach, he loved a good craft beer and he was known for his outdoor culinary skills. Todd forever enjoyed a good conversation or debate, especially if it involved politics, his love of the American flag and his strong conservative views were never in question.

He is survived by his wife, Tammie Lawrence; his daughter Abigail Lawrence; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Pat and Charolette Jackson; as well as a mother, brother and sister of Elkhart Kansas and his dearest friend in life, Lonnie Lane and wife Carol.

Memorial service will be held Friday, August 6, 2021, at 2:00 PM, with Bro. Frank Buttrey officiating in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs.
