James Thomas

James H. (Jim) Thomas, 74, of Ward, Arkansas, passed away October 23, 2011. He was an employee of UAMS for forty-two years, and a retired farmer. Jim is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Shirley Thomas; daughter Dianne Ingle and husband Justin; one granddaughter, Jamie Ingle; all of Ward; and a sister, Madie Peterson of North Little Rock. He is preceded in death by his parents, Al and Dora Thomas; a sister, Pat Gold; and a brother, Kelly Thomas.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
