James Lee Stivers, Sr., age 44, of Beebe, Arkansas, died Sunday, April 25, 2010. He was a self-employed contractor, having worked out of National Home Center. He enjoyed working in his yard and gardening. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren and family.
James was preceded in death by his father, John Franklin Stivers and a brother, Billy Lynn Stivers.
He is survived by his mother, Lila B. Scott and stepfather Russell Scott of Beebe; his wife, Tracy Wall-Stivers of Beebe; four daughters, Terra (James) Franks of Cabot, T. C. (Jay) Mosley of Greenbrier, Nikki Wofford of Conway, Brittany Wofford of Hot Springs; one son, James Lee Stivers, Jr. of Cabot; his adopted son, Colby Stivers Jordon of Cabot; five grandchildren; two brothers, John F. Stivers, Jr. of North Little Rock and Michael (Onna) S. Stivers of Mayflower; one sister, Barbara Ann Carpenter of Sherwood; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Terra Franks - James Stivers Funeral Fund at any Regions Bank branch.
