James "Pete" Tucker, age 84 of Arkadelphia died Friday, October 27, 2006 at the Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia. He was born April 30, 1922 in Clark Co. , the son of the late James Samuel and Eula Pyle Tucker. He was a retired maintenance technician at National Gypsum and International Paper. He was a WWII U.S. Army veteran and a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Lottie Duke Davidson Tucker; one son, Danny Tucker of Arkadelphia; one daughter, Diane Gerlach of Russellville, AR two step-sons, Ken Davidson of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Steve Davidson of Fayetteville, AR;; three sisters, Leota Atkins of Richwoods, Frances Callaway of Cutis and Edith Dixon of Bismarck; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchidren.
Funeral services 3:00 PM Sunday, Oct. 29, 2006 in Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Hardin and Rev. James Calhoun officiating. Interment in Richwoods Cemetery.
Visitation 6-8 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Richwoods Cemetery Fund c/o Nicky Todd, 170 Mt. Zion Rd., Arkadelphia, AR 71923.
Pallbearers will be Charles and Nicky Todd, Jim and Alan Atkins, Mike Callaway and Mark Davidson
