James Elbert (J. R.) Riley, age 51, of Arkadelphia died Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at his home. He was born March 7, 1962 in Arkadelphia, the son of John P. and Ruby Rogers Riley. J. R. worked with the Arkansas Highway Department for fifteen years. He was a member of Third Street Baptist Church. J. R. loved his family very much and was always willing to help others.
He was preceded in death by his father, his son, Edward Vincent McGrail Riley; three brothers, Charles, Harvey and Issac Riley.
Survivors are his wife, Juliann (Julie) Riley; one son, James (Jay) Riley and wife, Amanda; two daughters, Jenine Riley Runyan and husband, Bradley, Jessica Riley all of Arkadelphia; four grandchildren, Kenzie, Kaylee, and Kaidence Riley, Madison Runyan; his mother, Ruby Riley of Arkadelphia; four brothers, Edgar Rogers, Joe Riley, and Jimmy Riley all of Arkadelphia, George Riley of Bismarck; three sisters, Orpha Sanders of Bismarck; Vivirene Karr and Rebecca McJunkins both of Arkadelphia; numerous nieces and nephews.
