James Harlous Richerson

James Harlous Richerson, 80, of Jacksonville passed away June 27, 2023 in Little Rock.  He was born on November 6, 1942 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Willie J. (Bagemore) and Odie Richerson.  He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War, proudly serving in the United States Army. 

Harlous was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Carl Richardson and Gerald Richerson; and his grandson, Kyle Trentman.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Becky Kuhn Richerson; their only daughter, Sherry Trentman (Scott); his grandson, Dylan Trentman (Brooklyn Howell); and a sister, Merl Spann.  He is also survived by a biological daughter, Debbie Close and her family of Denton, Texas.

Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM, followed by the funeral at 11:30 AM, Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home.  Interment with military honors will follow at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, North Little Rock.
