James Reed

James A Reed, 85 of Hot Springs, died May 4, 2020. Born December 29, 1934 in Columbus, Ohio. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Billie Jean Reed of Hot Springs; son, James Douglas Reed of Columbus, Ohio; daughters, Lora Gibson of Columbus, Ohio and Lisa Polson of Kansas City, Kansas; step children, Barbara Denny of Delight, Tonzie Price of Hot Springs, and ten grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by one daughter, Pam Beuger and stepchildren Sherry Young and Chuck Thacker.

James retired after 30 years trucking and was a member of Oaklawn Methodist Church. Following CDC guidelines there will be a drop in visitation Thursday, May 7, 2020 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.  A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at Antoine Cemetery with Brother Russ Brashears officiating.
