James Nance

James C. Nance, Sr., 81, of Bryant, Arkansas went to be with his Lord March 24, 2018. He was born June 28, 1936 in Salem (Saline County), Arkansas to the late William Bryan and Ruby Elandor (Roberson) Nance.
James was a member of Fellowship Bible Church. He retired after working over thirty years at Alcoa as a welder. After retirement, James enjoyed riding bicycles. He even built one himself. Families stated that his motto would be: If it was broken, he could fix it - or modify it. In younger years, James enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hunting for antiques of all kinds. Most importantly, James loved the Lord and was a prayer warrior and a witness.
James was preceded in death by his parents, and infant sister.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of almost sixty-two years, Tommie Nance of Bryant, Arkansas; son, James C. Nance, Jr. and wife Debbie of Bryant, Arkansas; daughter, Robin Nance of Conway, Arkansas; grandchildren: Mary Nance, Dani Hearn and husband Todd, and Jessie Stovall and husband Dan; great-grandchildren: Levi Hearn, Cason Hearn, Hadlie Hearn, and Avery Stovall; special cousins, Leland and Nell Joyce Turbyfill; and a host of family and friends who love James and will miss him always.
