James H. ?Mac? McCarroll, 89, of Little Rock, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2009. He was a World War II Navy veteran. Mac was the owner of Temple and McCarroll Auto Body Shop and Salvage.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dora Ballard and Clarence McCarroll; first wife and infant daughter, Helen Jackson McCarroll and Linda Beth McCarroll; second wife, Wanda McSpadden McCarroll; sister, Marie Croft; and brother, Lawrence McCarroll.
He is survived by his daughter, Neena Romine of Little Rock; son-in-law, Jackie Romine of Little Rock; three grandchildren, Scott Romine of Cabot, Christina Romine Sheets of Little Rock and Carrie Romine Screeton of Mildenhall, England; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Ed McCarroll of Cherokee Village; and sister, Dorothy Lee of Abilene, Texas.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 909 West 2nd Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72201.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Linwood Cemetery, Paragould, Arkansas. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
