James Lloyd Martin, 71, of Malvern, Arkansas passed away August 29, 2018. He was born May 26, 1947 in Bauxite, Arkansas.
James loved spending time with his family-especially his great-grandchildren who were the light of his life. James spent his time doting on his pride and joy, Leum and Ember. He had a fantastic sense of humor and could always see the bright side of things. James often said he was a "jack of all trades and master of none". He enjoyed spending time playing cards, fishing and boating on the area lakes, working on cars, and hanging holiday decorations. James listened to classic country music and watched old western movies and cop shows.
James was preceded in death by granddaughter, Stormy Martin; mother, Sadie Griffin; step-father, Charles "Mack" Griffin; brothers: Billy Jack Martin, Fred Martin, and Ralph Martin; and sister, Cora Branch.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of over fifty years, Susan Martin of Malvern, Arkansas; two sons: Jason Martin of Malvern and Charles Martin and wife Kerri of Malvern; daughter, Eldorah Burton of New Mexico; grandchildren: Elisha Burton and wife Amanda, Kera Keefer, and Hallie Burton; great-grandchildren: Johnathan Tyco, Leum Martin, Ember Martin, and Ariel Burton; siblings: Mary Rhea, Leila Strickland, Linda Strickland, Kathy Dietrich, Jerry Martin, Ronnie Martin, and Donnie Martin; and a host of family and friends who love James and will miss him always.
