James LeMay

James Donald (Don) LeMay, 65, of Cabot, Arkansas, died on December 15, 2011 after an extended illness.
He was born June 19, 1946 to William Wilson and Captola M. LeMay in Cabot, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents and his father and mother-in-law, Hurschel and Billie Jean Clements of Austin, Arkansas.
In his youth, Don was a member of a rock-n-roll band and was a graduate of Nashville Auto Diesel College. He worked fifteen years for Wilkerson Mid-State Tractor, then retired in 2003 from GTE after twenty-one years of service. He made many friends as he traveled the state for work and enjoyed finding the unique places and restaurants in Arkansas. He loved the outdoors, drinking coffee with his buddies at Mad Jacks, woodworking in his shop, camping, traveling and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Irvine Hunting Club in Ashley County.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Clements LeMay; son and daughter-in-law Clint and Melissa LeMay, all of Cabot; daughter and son-in-law Dr. Jaime and Captain Ryan Miller of Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina; beloved grandchildren Emma, Michael and Maddie LeMay; brother Billy and wife Alta Mae of Cabot; sister-in-law Shirley Sudduth and husband Ken of Austin; brother-in-law Gary Clements and wife Ann of North Little Rock; nieces Vickie Keeton and Janice Ann Branscum; and nephews Rickie LeMay, John Majors, Danny Majors, Jeremy Clements and Austin Clements. He had several special cousins.
Family will receive friends at the home of Shirley and Ken Sudduth, 2944 Hwy. 367 N. in Austin, Arkansas. Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 19, 2011, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Old Austin Cemetery.
The family requests donations in memory of Don be made to Alzheimer's Arkansas, 10411 W. Markham, Ste. 130, Little Rock, AR 72205-1409, or Old Austin Baptist Church, 50 Old 38 N., Austin, AR 72007.
