James Golden

James “Larry” Golden 70, Hot Springs passed away September 5, 2019 doing what he loved; fishing. He loved hunting, golfing, fishing and he Loved Jesus Christ. He enjoyed volunteering at Habit Humanity Restore Store, going to the YMCA daily and getting coffee every day at the Sunshine store. Larry retired from Center Point Entergy after 37 years, served in the National Guard and served with the Fishers of Men.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bud & Geraldine Golden and one son Russel Guy Golden. Survivors include three daughters, Dewana (Tim) Joe, Shawna (Alan) Kennedy, Charla (Moses)Geddes; one son, Tim (Jennifer) Golden; one stepson, Jamie Bass; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, David (Judy) Golden, Danny (Paula) Golden, Donny (Gail) Golden, and Gary Golden; several nieces and nephews; and very special friend Peggy.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 11, 2019 from 9 – 10 a.m. with the memorial service to follow at 10:00 a.m. at Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home. Memorials can be made to Arkansas Bass Team Trail, 2810 Pine St. PMB 235 Arkadelphia, AR 71923.
