James Johnston
Major retired U. S. Air Force, James D. ?Doug? Johnston, 76, of North Little Rock passed away Friday, March 7, 2008. Doug was born October 31, 1931 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas to the late J.D. and Anna Maude Johnston. He graduated from Arkadelphia High School in 1949 and East Texas State College in 1954. He was a member of Central Baptist Church of North Little Rock and was a loving Christian, husband and father.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Rowland Johnston; son, David N. Johnston; daughter, Pamela Kaye Morrill, all of North Little Rock; grandson, William Douglas Morrill, of San Antonio, Texas; and sister-in-law, Bobbie Johnston, of Hot Springs. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Bob Johnston.
