James "Jimmy" P. Batchelor, IV

James “Jimmy” P. Batchelor, IV, age 67, of Hot Springs, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023.

He was born on September 22, 1955, in Camden, the son of James P. Batchelor, III and Avis Erma McKnight Batchelor.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Judy Lott; and one brother-in-law, Gary Hicks.

Jimmy enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.  He loved music and being with family and friends, and of course having his sweet canine companion, Brandy, by his side.   He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

He is survived by one son, “Dustin” James P. Batchelor, V and his loving partner, Tiffany Langford; his granddaughter, Allie Batchelor; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Charlotte and Darrell Grosskopf and Linda Hicks; his brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Valerie Batchelor; four nephews, Chip Lott, Kurt Grosskopf, Scott Grosskopf and Tyler Hicks; three nieces, Katie Beth Ward, Anna Joy Tamayo and Lynae Batchelor; his best friend of 47 years, Jim McClanahan; his loving dog, Brandy; many extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Celebration of Life service will be held 2:00 PM, April 16, 2023, at LakePointe Church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
