James Lucky “Jim Bob” Booten, Jr., 35, of Benton, Arkansas passed away March 24, 2021. He was born January 3, 1986 in Kane County, Illinois to James Booten, Sr. and Belinda (Salinas) Glover.
Jim Bob thought family was the most important thing in life. He believed in tough love yet was always the first one to help anyone with anything they needed. He was an awesome husband, father, brother, and friend. Fishing was a favorite hobby of his, and he was always willing to take others with him. He had the biggest heart of any man around. Jim Bob worked many jobs but building homes and doing residential remodels were his area of expertise. He could do anything from laying floor tile to building custom cabinets. One never knew what to expect from Jim Bob as he was a prankster who love to torment his family with practical jokes!
Preceding Jim Bob in death are his sister, Samantha Booten; grandmother, Louisa Salinas; and cousin, Adam Salinas.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Katherine Booten of Benton, Arkansas; five children: Belinda Rose Booten, Jayden Marie Booten, Kaitlynn Elizabeth Booten, Toni Raelynn Booten, and Aiden Kane Booten; father, James Booten, Sr. of Kentucky; mother Belinda “Binky” Salinas-Glover of Chicago, Illinois; brothers: Anthony Booten and wife Martha of Searcy, Arkansas and Ricky Norks and wife Feliza of Kensett, Arkansas; mother-in-law, Rosemary Woods of Little Rock, Arkansas; sister-in-law, Virginia Eubanks of Benton, Arkansas; nieces: Isabella Eubanks (who affectionately called him “Uncle Daddy”), Maleeya Norks, and Jaci Cox; nephews, John Cox, Jr. and Jackob Cox; and many family members and friends who love Jim Bob and will miss him always.
