James "Jim" Goodwin

James "Jim" Goodwin, age 56, of Amity, passed away Monday, April 25, 2016. He was born on October 8, 1959, at Spearman, Texas, the son of Robert Leland Goodwin, Sr. and Betty Lou Lavern Drye Goodwin. On June 26, 1979, he married Cathy Denise Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents; twin granddaughters, Amber Nicole Jett and Amanda Lynn Jett; and two sisters, Patricia Lou LeMasters and Mary Louise Bingamon. Jim was a Christian in his faith and a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a truck driver and enjoyed "tinkering", gardening, hunting, fishing and helping people. He is survived by his wife, Cathy Goodwin of Amity; three sons and two daughters-in-law, James William, Jr. and Chris Goodwin of Oklahoma City, Johnny Wayne, Sr. and Jennifer Goodwin of Amity, Kevin Lee Milliam of Oklahoma City; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Tanya Denise and John Schultz of Wisconsin, Crystal Dawn and Donnie Arp of Moore, Oklahoma, Betty Jo and Conway Webb of West Virginia and Barbara Beller of Las Vegas, Nevada; twenty grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert Leland, Jr. and Janelle Goodwin of Amity; one sister, Roberta JoAnn West of Mesquite, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
