James Jennings
James Jennings, age 90 of Greenbrier, passed away March 20, 2013 in Sun City, AZ. He was born April 8, 1922 in Clinton, AR; he was the son of Charles and Alama Jennings.
James wasa United States Navy Veteran of WWII and a mechanic-supervisor for Phillips Petroleum for 37 years. He was a member of the Arkansas Razorbacks Airstream club, Mabelvale American Legion, Greenbrier First Baptist Church, and enjoyed traveling with his Airstream friends and hunting.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 61 years Beulah Jennings, parents Fletcher and Alama Jennings, brothers Junius and Jack Jennings, and sisters Winnie, Eula and Lila.
Survivors include sons James Cecil and Fletcher Jennings, grandsons John Jennings, Nicholas Jones and Jeremy Jones, great-grandchildren Monica Dinglasan, Emily Jennings and Jax Jones and a sister Alice Kirkendall.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel at 6400 Mabelvale Pike, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Huson Funeral Home in Little Rock.
