James Andrew Jamison, Jr., 91, of Little Rock, passed away August 6, 2015. He was born in Springfield, Missouri to James Andrew Jamison, Sr. and Alice Virginia Gholston Jamison. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and Korea.
Preceded in death by his parents, wife, Marion Frances Jamison, daughter, Teri Lynn Jamison and a host of brothers and sisters, he is survived by his daughter, Alice Pettit and husband, Ralph of Sheridan; grandchildren, James Andrew Jamison of Phoenix, Arizona, Cindy Harvey (Bobby), Kelly Scott (John) and Ricky Tipton (Brandi), all of Sheridan; brother, Bobby Jamison (Maggie) of Washington State; sister, Margaret Nettles of Seattle, Washington; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be this evening, Saturday, August 8 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Monday, August 10 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Ricky Tipton, followed by interment at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
