James Hooper

James Richard "Dick" Hooper, 62, of Little Rock, passed away December 23, 2015. He was born in Little Rock to Sanford and Ann Stuart Hooper.

He was preceded in death by his father Sanford Hooper of Little Rock.

He is survived by his mother Ann Hooper, wife Pam Hooper and his daughter Melissa all of Little Rock, Sister Dianne Brady, brothers Bob Hooper (Maria), Sanford Hooper (Pamela), Phil Hooper (Suzanne), Mark Hooper (Ruth) all of Little Rock and Hank Hooper (Pamela) of Colorado, and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.

Dick had a large heart with an intense love of family and friends. He never met a stranger and often shared his wonderful sense of humor with contagious laughter. He loved music and played the guitar, as well as, wrote music and poetry. Dick was proud to have been a U.S. Marine and the Captain of the Catholic High Junior ROTC Drill Team, as well as, Tulane ROTC Drill Team. He was a successful businessman as a distributor of Hayworth International Sales. He was an avid golfer and had a love for animals. He lived in Memphis where he met his wife Pam and the birth of his pumpkin Melissa.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 27 at 6:00 P.M. at Dugan's Pub and Grill, 403 E 3rd St. Little Rock.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 28 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Souls Catholic Church, 1003 N. Tyler St., Little Rock, AR 72205

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors Memorial Project, 4899 Belfort Rd. Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL, 32256
