James T. Herrin age 84 of Bismarck, AR went to be with the Lord Monday, March 30, 2015.He was born February 10, 1931 the son of Travis and Pearl Herrin of Bismarck. James enjoyed spending time with his family, playing music with his friends, working in his garden and was especially proud of his new great granddaughter, Faelynn. James was a retired homebuilder and a retired Church of Christ minister. James was preceded in death by 7 sisters, Gladys Bray, Alpha Hancock, Velma Moore, Nettie Bray, Ruth Confer, Louise Gaston, and Laverne Ridgeway.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Pauline Avant Herrin, two daughters, Gail (Charlie) Kratts and Debbie Herrin all of Bismarck, one son Ricky (Karen) Herrin also of Bismarck, two granddaughters Stephanie Herrin, Erica (Cody) Boothe, one great granddaughter, Faelynn Boothe all of Bismarck, one brother, Leon (Maureen) Herrin of Arkadelphia and one sister, Jean Wooldridge of Hot Springs.
Funeral services will be 2:30 PM Thursday, April 2nd in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel in Arkadelphia with Bro. Bernard Strother and Bro. Keith Thornton officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Bower Cemetery in Bismarck. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Charlie Kratts, Cody Boothe, Mike Inglis, Ronnie Randolph, Jimmy Morgan, and Danny McMahan.
