James Haymon

James Kerby Haymon, 91, of Alexander, passed away January 19, 2021 with his family at his side.  Born in Slagle, Louisiana to James and Arena Conley Haymon, he was a U.S. Air Force veteran, owner/operator of a Western Auto store, and a member of Community Park Church in Bryant.

He is survived by his daughters, Dianna Young (James) and Libby Ditrick, both of Alexander; sister, Delcie Bronk (Charles) of Leavenworth, Kansas; grandchildren, James Pierce (Julie) of Kyle, Texas, Joanna Deleon (Joe) of Paige, Texas; great-grandchildren, Zack Deleon, Toni Deleon, Cheyenne Deleon, Jayla Gamble and James Kerby Pierce; and other family and friends.

Services will be Wednesday, January 27 at 10:00 a.m. at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct., Little Rock, officiated by Rev. Rodney Tilley. Interment with Military Honors will follow at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, officiated by K.C.
